New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio defended Republican presidential candidate John Kasich after the Ohio governor was widely criticized for eating pizza with a fork in New York City.
“Here’s one thing I agree with John Kasich on…” wrote de Blasio on Twitter, sharing a photo of himself eating pizza with a fork.

“Look, look, the pizza came scalding hot, OK? And so I use a little fork,” Kasich said on Good Morning America, defending his actions.
De Blasio has also been criticized for eating pizza with a fork, earning mockery and condemnation by the Daily Show’s Jon Stewart in 2014.
