The Republican National Convention (RNC) launched ConventionFacts.gop in order to prepare the public for what to expect at a contested national convention.

The website outlines party rules for delegates and the process that occurs if no GOP candidate reaches the threshold of 1,237 delegates.

“ConventionFacts.gop is a tool for voters to learn about convention delegates, rules, and how the overall process works in a simple, easy to understand format,” Reince Priebus, the RNC chairman, stated. “Conventions are democracy in action and our Party’s gathering in Cleveland will be an exciting, transparent, and fair process.”

The Republican National Convention is scheduled for July in Cleveland, Ohio.
