Trump was leading by 6.7 points last Monday before Clinton started rising again, nearly erasing Trump’s lead by the end of the week.

Clinton had a noticeably light campaign schedule last week, hosting a rally on Wednesday in Orlando and a rally geared towards millennials on Monday. She remained at home the rest of the week, resting and preparing for the upcoming presidential debate.

The USC Dornsife/L.A. Times Poll asks roughly 3000 American citizens each day about the presidential race in order to reflect the political pulse of the country.
