President-elect Donald Trump invited former failed Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney to dinner as he is considering the former Massachusetts governor for a position in his administration.
The pair was joined by Trump’s chief of staff pick, Reince Priebus.
The president-elect allowed the media to photograph the occasion and even released the menu of the dinner at New York City restaurant Jean-Georges to the press pool.
The trio dined on young garlic soup with thyme and sautéed frog legs for an appetizer and diver scallops with caramelized cauliflower and a caper raisin emulsion.
Trump and Priebus had prime sirloin with a citrus glaze and carrots while Romney had lamb chops with mushroom bolognese sauce.
It remains unclear whether Romney will serve in Trump’s administration as Secretary of State, although he reportedly wants the job.
