President-elect Donald Trump will launch a “Thank You Tour” for voters before he takes office as the 45th President of the United States.
Trump team officials revealed to Bloomberg News that the president-elect will launch his first rally in Cincinnati, Ohio to thank voters for supporting his campaign.
Tickets are available via Trump’s campaign website.
Trump is expected to visit multiple swing states as part of his tour, likely including Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Florida.
The notion of a public post-campaign tour is not unprecedented.
In January 2009, Barack Obama also took a post-election train tour to Philadelphia, imitating former President Abraham Lincoln’s famous “whistle-stop” tour.
