Three suspected intruders allegedly broke into a home early Friday morning, were met by gunfire, and one of the suspects was killed.

The other two suspects fled, and police do not know if they were shot and wounded as well.

The incident occurred around 2 a.m. near College Park.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, “The owner of a home in the 2000 block of Rochelle Way told Fulton police three men broke in through the front door.” The homeowner opened fire and when police arrived, one of the suspects lay dead in the front yard.

Police have no descriptions on the two suspects who allegedly fled, but the homeowner believes they “may be armed.”
