Lungs Found on LA Sidewalk Not Human

Lungs found on a Compton sidewalk this weekend have been determined to not be those of a human, according to coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter. The are thought to be of animal origin, though nothing in the article rules out zombie lungs. 

At least we know they didn't result from some Hollywood production meeting gone wrong.

The discovery was made by a woman walking in the 13100 block of Avalon Boulevard on Sunday. She snapped a photo before contacting the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department that evening.

Blood and tissue samples were used to determine that the lungs weren't human; however, no specific species of animal has been determined at this time.
