White House Condemns Holder Vote as 'Stunt'

The White House on Thursday condemned an unprecendented House of Representatives contempt vote against Attorney General Eric Holder as a "transparently political stunt."

"Republicans pushed for political theater rather than legitimate Congressional oversight," said White House communications director Dan Pfeiffer in a statement after the House censured Holder over a botched gun running sting.
