McCain: Hillary Has 2016 'Ambitions'

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) told FOX News on Wednesday that he thought that President Barack Obama should replace Vice President Joe Biden with Hillary Clinton on the ticket. His remarks came in light of Biden’s most recent comments in which he told a heavily black audience in a Virginia city with a past history of racial conflict that Republicans are “gonna put y’all back in chains.”

McCain said Obama would be “wise” to replace Biden with Clinton, but said Clinton probably would not accept.

"But that's not going to happen, obviously, for a whole variety of reasons, including the fact I'm not sure if I were Hillary Clinton I'd want to be on that team,” he said, according to The Hill. “I think her ambitions, very frankly, are for 2016.”

McCain also said Obama should be held accountable for his campaign’s actions.

“He should be held accountable, the Obama administration should be held accountable for this ad that basically alleges that Mitt Romney is responsible for the tragic death of a man’s wife,” McCain said.

The buzz surrounding Hillary Clinton comes as Chelsea Clinton left open a possible political future in an interview with Vogue magazine.

Mitt Romney has denounced Obama’s angry campaign of division and said Obama wanted to smash the nation and piece together 51 percent of it to win election because he cannot run on his economy.
