Jenny Beth Martin, president of the Tea Party Patriots, said Tuesday's debate between President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney made it clear why the country was in economic peril: "our President doesn't understand the economy, and it shows." 

"President Obama stumbled and bumbled through tonight's debate the same way he stumbled and bumbled his way through the last four years," Martin declared. "His unsteadiness again shows the American people that he simply doesn't know how jobs are created or how the country's deficit is reduced."

The debate was so bad for Obama that his top advisers almost unprecedentedly conceded defeat minutes after the debate was over. Like so many in Obama's economy who have lost hope, Obama's paid professionals lost the will even to spin for Obama after the debate.
