GA Candidate Gets Air Cover from Super PAC

The Congressional Leadership Fund, a Republican super PAC, will pour in $200,000 worth of television and online advertisements to support Georgia Republican Lee Anderson, who is challenging Georgia incumbent Rep. John Barrow (D).

Georgia Tipsheet reports the Super PAC, which is focused on increasing Republican margins in the House, will start running the advertisements beginning Monday. The ads will run through election day.

This ad buy will help Anderson's campaign compete against the well-funded incumbent.

Tipsheet also notes that a Democratic group, Patriot Majority PAC, has purchased "$20,000 in broadcast time throughout the district" on behalf of Barrow.
