Romney, Biden Cancel Virginia Events Due to Hurricane Sandy

After canceling a Sunday night rally in Virginia Beach on Friday due to Hurricane Sandy's looming landfall, Mitt Romney on Saturday canceled all of his Virginia campaign events for Sunday.  Vice President Joe Biden canceled his Saturday events in Virginia Beach. 

On Sunday, Romney was scheduled to campaign in Prince William County and Richmond, Virginia. 

Romney will now spend Sunday campaigning in the crucial state of Ohio while Hurricane Sandy closes in on the east coast. On Saturday, Sandy again got upgraded to a Category 1 Hurricane. The "Frankenstorm" is expected to cause major damage on the East Coast as it collides directly with a cold front during Halloween week.
