US Jobless Rate 7.7% in November

The US unemployment rate plummeted to 7.7 percent in November, its lowest level in almost four years, as the labor force shrank sharply, government data released Friday showed.

The economy added 146,000 jobs last month, more than expected, the Labor Department said.
