Adam Lanza's Mother May Have Had Plans To Move To Washington State With Son

Adam Lanza's mother, Nancy, may have had plans to move with Adam to Washington state so she could enroll Adam in a special school in the weeks and months before Adam killed her before opening fire at Sandy Hook Elementary School last Friday.

Mark Tambascio, a restaurant owner who had known Nancy Lanza for several years and was a close friend of hers, told the Washington Post Lanza's mother had discovered a school in Washington state that may have suited Adam.

“They were going to move out there together,” Tambascio said.

According to reports, Nancy Lanza may have been at her wit's end due to her son's mental condition. She had reportedly decided she could no longer take care of him on a full-time basis, and may have also considered committing Adam to a mental institution. Sources told Fox News that she was caring for him full-time, "had come to the realization she could no longer handle her son alone," and "told friends she needed help."
