Report: Adam Lanza's Dad Hadn't Spoken with Him for 2 Years

According to a source close to the Lanza family, Newtown, Connecticut murderer Adam Lanza had no contact with his father for two years before the massacre.

The two reportedly saw each other every week for nine years after the 2001 separation of Adam’s parents, Peter and Nancy, before the divorce became final in 2009. In 2010, when Peter began dating his future wife, Adam stopped all communication with his father.

The divorce had stipulated joint custody, with Adam living with his mother in Newtown relying on a six-figure yearly sum supplied by Peter, who is a director and VP for General Electric.

After the break between father and son, there was no contact at all; Peter next heard of his son after the massacre. Adam’s father and brother Ryan have refused to claim Adam and Nancy’s bodies.

All of these gains are nominal, you understand, but for terrified American policy makers and investors, nominal is just fine.
