Vandals defaced a nativity scene at at Huntington Beach, California Catholic church by drawing swastikas and male genitalia and writing "Heil Hitler" on one of the nativity figures.
Nancy Cesar, the business manager at Saint Bonaventure Catholic Parish, discovered the graffiti on Sunday and said it must have happened Saturday night.
She said the life-sized nativity scene, which has been vandalized in previous years, was in front of a priest's house, which is next to the church, and is put up by the church's Vietnamese parishioners.
"Today is, I believe, the most hurtful and the most obnoxious," she said.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Lt. Brian Seitz of the Huntington Beach Police Department said "officers responded to the scene at about 9 a.m. and took a report, but no suspects have been identified."
