Biden Meets with Telecom, Theater CEOs About Gun Violence

Broadcasters, CEOs of telecommunication groups and theater owners, among others, met with VP Joe Biden on Jan. 10 to discuss the pending White House gun grab.

Biden is in charge of Obama's gun violence task force.

Representatives of the groups in attendance included former Sen. Chris Dodd (D-Conn.) and former Sen. Gordan Smith (R-Ore.), who is now the CEO of the National Association of Broadcasters.

Attorney General Eric Holder was also scheduled to take part in the meeting.

While no details of the meeting have become available, the meeting was part of the Obama/Biden push for "significant changes to gun laws" in the U.S.

Biden also met with NRA leadership on the 10th, and will be meeting with representatives from the video-game industry next week.
