Perhaps Hillary Clinton has been gone too long buzzing around the world and the National Father’s Day Council has some inside info on Bill Clinton’s sexual peccadilloes while she was away. That’s the only plausible explanation for that organization’s choice of Bill Clinton as their 2012 Father of the Year. Has he been around any interns lately?
The group claimed Clinton was picked because of his “profound generosity, leadership and tireless dedication to both his public office and many philanthropic organizations.”
Uhh, what?
How many fathers work long hours to feed their families, never cheat on their wives, are not continually accused of sexual harassment or rape, act with honor and class and dignity, and go unnoticed by anyone other than their devoted families?
Millions.
What is the payoff for this organization? Do they have a number of liberal donors they wish to please? They’d have been better off keeping the award private. It’s insulting and demeaning to the rest of us who try to act with dignity and class as models for our children to give that award to Clinton. If shunning still existed, this group would deserve it.
