Fox News To Re-Air 'Boomtown' Special Tonight At 9PM ET

Fox News will re-air the Sean Hannity one-hour “Boomtown” special on Washington, D.C.’s wealth explosion tonight at 9:00 p.m. ET and 9:00 p.m. PST.

The special, which has sparked considerable buzz on Twitter and triggered a flood of emails, shines a spotlight on how lobbyists, special interests, and politicians leverage their crony connections to extract wealth from taxpayers in order to fund their lavish lifestyles. The program was co-hosted by Government Accountability Institute (GAI) President and Co-Founder Peter Schweizer and Breitbart News Executive Chairman and GAI Co-Founder Stephen K. Bannon.

Some highlights from the “Boomtown” investigation include:

Wealth in Washington, D.C. has surged to the highest median income in the United States, surpassing even tech mecca Silicon Valley, California.

For every dollar corporations spent on lobbying in 2004, they received $220 in return, or a 22,000% return on investment.

Lamborghini moved its North American headquarters to the D.C. region because it saw the city as having the most potential for growth.

Washington, D.C. consumes more gallons of wine per capita than any state in the nation.

The re-airing of “Boomtown” begins tonight on Fox News at 9:00 p.m. ET and 9:00 p.m. PST.
