NARAL Video: Should I Go for a Jog or Have an Abortion?

To pro-abortion organization NARAL, the decision to have an abortion is just another, everyday choice a girl or woman has the right to make, just like which dress or hairstyle to wear, or whether or not to go for a jog in the park, or chew gum.

The group has released a new video, “Choice Out Loud,” to celebrate their new campaign, or “experience,” as they like to call it.

The video features trite statements about “choice” linked to a montage of professional photographs of models acting happy and free.

NARAL’s new campaign, called “40 Years of Choice,” marks the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade. An anniversary dinner celebration is planned for Tuesday, Feb. 5th at the Washington Hilton, and it will feature Stephanie Cutter, former deputy campaign manager for President Obama, as the keynote speaker.

Nancy Keenan (pictured) is NARAL’s outgoing president. Replacing her will be Ilyse Hogue, former senior adviser to Media Matters for America and former co-founder and co-director of Friends of Democracy Super PAC, which was started by Jonathan Soros, son of financier George Soros. Hogue is also the former director of political advocacy and communications for MoveOn.org.
