Business as Usual at LaGuardia After Scare

After a brief bomb scare at New York’s LaGuardia Airport, causing delays of up to 45 minutes for outgoing flights, the Port Authority issued an “all clear” and travel returned to normal, with merely ordinary delays.

Part of a terminal had been evacuated after wires had been spotted protruding from a fluorescent light. Authorities are on high alert following yesterday’s deadly bombing at the finish line of the Boston Marathon.

However, Americans have shown their defiance of terrorism by returning to business as usual, at LaGuardia and elsewhere. The image above shows travelers enjoying light refreshments at Delta’s LaGuardia gates.
