Update: Weiner Fixes Website Blunder on Day Two of Campaign

UPDATE: Fixed!

At the top of Anthony Weiner’s campaign site is a logo that looks as though it includes one of New York City’s iconic bridges and just as iconic cityscape. Which, of course, makes sense. After all, Weiner is running to be mayor of New York City. Have a look:

Some eagle-eyed folks on Twitter and at PoliticsPA, though, recognized the bridge and buildings as an iconic part of a city Weiner is not running a redemption campaign to be mayor of — Pittsburgh.

Below is a photo I found of the downtown Pittsburgh landscape. The bridge, and most especially the BNY Mellon Center building located in downtown Pittsburgh,  seem to match Weiner’s logo.

Checking on Google Street View, it looks a lot like the Pittsburgh skyline seen from the Andy Warhol Bridge facing south.

Looks as though Weiner doesn’t recognize the city he wants to run, and as a result, pulled a real boner here.
