Book: Christie Threatened to Drop 'F-Bomb' During Primetime RNC Address if Video Shortened

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie reportedly threatened to drop an “F-bomb” during his primetime address at last year’s Republican National Convention if organizers shortened his introductory video.

The Huffington Post obtained an advance copy of Washington Post reporter Dan Balz’s book on the 2012 election, Collision 2012, in which the veteran journalist reported that Christie made his threat after organizers were thinking about cutting his video by three minutes so the primetime events could conclude by 11 p.m. ET.

Balz reported that the convention organizers ultimately relented.
