Rubio to Publish Book After 2014 Midterm Elections

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) is planning to publish a book following the 2014 midterm elections, when speculation about whether he will run for president in 2016 will likely intensify.

Sentinel, the conservative imprint of Penguin books, will publish the book "about the future of the country and the future of the Republican Party," according to The Hill.

Adrian Zackheim, who heads the imprint that also published Rubio's first book, said the book does not have a title yet.

Since being the face of comprehensive immigration reform in the Senate as part of the "Gang of Eight" that wrote the upper chamber's immigration bill, Rubio's poll numbers among Republicans and conservatives have dropped. The book may be an attempt for the junior Senator to rehabilitate his image with Republican primary voters.

Rubio told Parade magazine he and his family would have the "conversation" about running for president "at some point late next year."
