Harry Reid Slams 'Cruz-Led House'

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) thinks his colleague Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is actually leading the House of Representatives in mounting the opposition to Democrats on the budget and other fiscal matters.

Reid slammed what he said was a “Tea Party-driven, Cruz-led House” at a press conference with House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) on Wednesday after a meeting at the White House with Pelosi and House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) to discuss resolutions to the government shutdown.

Reid, who refused to pass bills that would fund agencies like the National Institutes for Health during the shutdown and claimed Republicans were responsible for barricades being put at the World War II Memorial, also accused the House of playing “these little games” that were “all focused on Obamacare” and said, “we’re through” playing those games.
