Wife Tries to Frame Husband by Loading Computer with Child Porn
A western Pennsylvania woman attempted to frame her estranged husband by putting child pornography on his computer.
Meri Jane Woods, 42, of Cherry Hill Township, put the pornography on the computer on August 11 and then reported to state troopers on August 14 that her husband sexually abused children.
One problem: the police investigating the case found that her husband had left the residence by July 23.
Woods was charged with a felony count of the sexual abuse of children for owning a computer with the images on it, as well as 40 counts of lying about alleged abuse incidents with which her husband had supposedly been involved.
