On December 27, a home invader in Deep Deuce, Oklahoma picked the wrong home and was shot by an off-duty police officer inside the house.
According to News9.com, the suspect broke into the home of an Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper on Friday night. The trooper was at home when the break-in took place and he was able to shoot, and critically wound, the intruder.
The suspect was taken to OU Medical Center for treatment “where he succombed to his injuries” during surgery.
The name of the suspect has not been released.
