Holder to Speak at 'Unity and Hope' Service for Jewish Centers Shooting Victims

On April 17th, Attorney General Eric Holder will speak at a service “of unity and hope” in Overland Park, Kansas, being held for the victims of the heinous crime at the Kansas Jewish centers.

According to The Hill, Holder announced Tuesday his participation in the service, and he also “urged Congress to approve an additional $15 million in active-shooter training for police around the country.”

Holder claimed an “alarming rise” in active shootings when requesting the funds, saying the rise must be confronted “honestly, factually, and without regard for political consequence.”

On April 15th, Breitbart News reported Northeastern University criminologist James Alan Fox’s contention that such shootings are not on the rise. Rather, Fox said they simply appear to be rising because of the all the media attention given them.
