Obama: Hillary and I Are 'Buddies'
In an interview on the “Kelly and Michael” show, President Obama assured Americans that he had a warm relationship with Hillary Clinton.
Co-host Kelly Ripa asked Obama what he thought about Clinton’s glowing praise about how he handled the killing of Osama bin Laden.
“Did you know that she felt this way about you?” asked Ripa.
“You know Hillary and I - we’re buddies, Obama said, asserting that although people look at their relationship as a “marriage of convenience” he felt “blessed” to have her serve as Secretary of State.”
“I always admired her,” Obama said. “As soon as she got here should couldn’t have been more effective and more loyal and since that time we’ve become really really good friends.”
Obama added that although he didn’t know if she would run for president, he said that she would be “very effective.”
