HHS Apologizes to Small Town After Plan to Import Dumped Kids Is Exposed

In Lawrenceville, Virginia, federal officials apologized for failing to notify citizens of a plan to bring hundreds of illegal immigrant children into their town.

The plan quickly drew opposition after citizens of the small town of 1,500 learned the details.

According to the Associated Press, the deal has now been put on hold, but the government secretly planned to house the illegal immigrant children in the closed St. Paul’s College.

Another official from the agency apologized for what she described as “communication challenges.”
