On July 19, a paraplegic man claims to have shot and killed his brother to defend his sister’s life.
According to Philadelphia’s ABC 6, the unnamed, 34-year-old paraplegic man shot his 40-year-old brother whom he said “was abusive toward him and his [38-year-old] sister.”
The paraplegic man said his brother “was attacking his sister then came toward him,” at which point he “pulled out a handgun and shot…[him] once in the chest.”
Police took the 40-year-old attacker to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, “where he was pronounced dead.”
The sister was also taken to the hospital for injuries she sustained in the attack.
