Obama: 'This Sh*t Would Be Really Interesting if We Weren't Right in the Middle of It'

Former senior adviser for President Obama revealed a favorite quote of the president’s during a crisis.

Axelrod made his remarks in a story by Bloomberg’s Joshua Green, which examines Obama’s “no drama” reaction to moments of crisis.

He also pointed to former President George W. Bush’s ability to lead during a crisis, pointing to the scene with the bullhorn standing in the rubble of the World Trade Center towers.

But don’t doubt whether the seasoned Obama ally has lost his loyalty to Obama. Axelrod explained that thanks to Obama’s handling of incidents like the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, he was able to restore Americans’ trust in government.

He added: “Bush didn’t get bin Laden–Obama did.”
