Chris Christie: I'm Not 'Mamby Pamby' When It Comes To The Cowboys

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is standing by his Dallas Cowboys, after he sat in the owner’s box during a game in Philadelphia against the Eagles.

During his monthly Ask the Governor radio show on New Jersey 101.5, the Republican defended his decision to stick with the Cowboys even though he is Governor of New Jersey.

“Since the beginning of me getting into public life, and people ask me who I root for, I haven’t done these mamby pamby crap, you know, I say listen, I’m a Cowboys fan,” he said.

Christie added that he wasn’t about to pretend that he wasn’t enjoying himself as a Cowboys fan, especially after he was invited to sit with owner Jerry Jones.

Christie admitted that during the game, Eagles fans were “yelling all kinds of things at me” but he says he didn’t engage them.
