Jon Stewart not only runs with this, he threads the needle regarding the fact that he and Weiner are friends quite brilliantly. Credit where it's due: in reality, one human being to another, this couldn't have been easy for Stewart to do to a pal. But he took his professional responsibility, uhm, seriously, and let it rip.
