Todd Palin is set to join a new NBC series with a military-friendly focus.
“Stars Earn Stripes,” set to bow in August, invites celebrities to complete military-style exercises alongside U.S. military or law enforcement veterans.
Sarah Palin’s husband will be joined by an eclectic group of celebrities, including boxer Laila Ali, Dean Cain, singer Nick Lachey, gold medalist Picabo Street and ex-NFL star/actor Terry Crews.
NBC has tapped General Wesley Clark (ret.), the former Supreme Allied Commander Europe for NATO and 2004 presidential candidate to host the show along with TV personality Samantha Harris (Entertainment Tonight, Dancing with the Stars)….
Contests range from helicopter drops to long-range target shooting, with the celebrity and the veteran competing as a team. Each week, one team is eliminated.
