Halle Berry Hit with $20k Monthly Child Support

A court has ordered actress Halle Berry to pay $20,000 in child support per month, according to the Huffington Post. 

Ex-boyfriend and Canadian model Gabriel Aubry, with whom Berry mothered four-year-old daughter Nahla, demanded the amount to keep up “the surroundings to which [Nahla] has become accustomed.”

Aubry filed suit in April, though the couple split up in 2010. He also justified the high figure, stating he would need money to travel to Canada with the young girl to visit his family. 

Despite the ruling, Berry has filed her own suit for permission to move to Paris with her daughter to live with current fiancée Oliver Martinez.
