Trailer Talk: 'Nature Calls' Looks Like Foul-Mouthed Fun
Patton Oswalt, Johnny Knoxville, Rob Riggle and the late, great Patrice O'Neal are all running around screaming obscenities in the trailer for "Nature Calls."
Synopsis: Polar-opposite brothers Randy (Oswalt) and Kirk (Knoxville) never saw eye-to-eye, but their rivalry is taken to a new level when Randy hijacks Kirk’s son’s sleepover, taking the boys on a Scout Trip to remember.
Thoughts: All of these guys are hilarious, but they haven't had a chance to sell their comedic talents to movie going audiences quite yet. Oswalt has mostly stuck to supporting work in film, Knoxville hasn't moved beyond the whole watch-me-get-hit-in-the-balls thing, and Riggle has also mostly had supporting roles. "Nature Calls" doesn't look like it will win over the masses or make stars out of any of them, but it could have some great foul mouthed pleasures due to its stars.
"Nature Calls" appears to have been shot with a modest budget, and the trailer mostly hints at what the stars have in store for audiences. It's enough of a taste to make me ready to laugh my ass off. Bringing these four guys together is a recipe for comedy gold. Let's hope the film lives up to its talented cast.
"Nature Calls" is available through VOD services now hits theaters on Nov. 9.
