Alec Baldwin Insults 'FrackNation' Director, Demands Debate on Fracking

Alec Baldwin turned his Twitter rage at the director of FrackNation over the weekend.

Baldwin, who alternately rages against his perceived enemies on social media and quits the service only to later return, is now targeting filmmaker Phelim McAleer and his pro-fracking documentary.

Alec Baldwin on Twitter

The background, according to McAleer: The actor asked the Independent Oil & Gas Association to nominate someone for a fracking debate. When the organization nominated the FrackNation director and journalist, Baldwin vetoed the selection.

The debate challenge sparked a furious exchange on Twitter. Baldwin said he was told McAleer had physically assaulted anti-fracking celebrity Yoko Ono and therefore didn’t want him on a debating panel on the subject.

McAleer fired back–show me any evidence to back that up. Baldwin had none. Later, Baldwin continued his backpedaling on the issue of a possible debate:

And I don’t want to debate fracking. I want to debate film theory. Bc your film is so awful.

Baldwin continued the name-calling, saying McAleer was “boring,” and a “wheezing gas whore.”
