Texas Gov. Rick Perry endured a fallacious attack on his character from The Washington Post two years ago, one that attempted to paint him as racist for having a family connection to a 1,000 acre property which once had the “n-word” painted on a large rock.
Now, comedian Sarah Silverman is attempting to keep the false meme alive via her Twitter page.
@GovernorPerry thought “what is the world coming to?!” when the news of the failure of SB5 reached him at NIGGERHEAD RANCH
Someone may have whispered to the shock comic that her message was based on a lie because she subsequently removed the tweet.
Silverman’s salvo was mild when compared to what veteran film critic Todd Gilchrist had to say about the Texas governor on Twitter:
