LOS ANGELES, Aug. 12 (UPI)–Hollywood’s Paramount Pictures says Brad Pitt’s zombie apocalypse film “World War Z” has passed the $500 million worldwide gross milestone.
The figure surpasses the $497.3 million of “Troy” to become Pitt’s highest grossing film ever, Deadline.com said.
Directed by Marc Forster, “World War Z” is an adaptation of Max Brooks’ 2006 novel. It was released in theaters in June.
