Is the 'Duck Dynasty' Era Over? Not Even Close

Everything that rises must fall, and that’s particularly true of hit television shows.

Could that be happening to Duck Dynasty, A&E’s smash reality series?

The show, which depicts the God-fearing Robertson family and their entrepreneurial pluck, is a ratings powerhouse with three show-related books near the top of the literary charts.

Has the Duck moment peaked?

Hardly, argues Fox News after consulting business sources who discuss the Duck brand. In fact, the show’s stars may become part of the permanent cultural fabric.

One executive at a major entertainment company–who wished to remain anonymous–told us the “Dynasty” madness isn’t ending anytime soon.

“I feel like ‘Duck Dynasty’ is a growing franchise. They’re on the rise, and now is the time for them to put these products out,” the exec said. “The Robertsons are very savvy, and I think they have the ability to play this right so that they can establish a brand for themselves like Martha Stewart, which is an evergreen lifestyle brand.”
