Comedian Patton Oswalt rushed to his Twitter feed today not to mourn the loss of life following today’s shooting at LAX but to smite gun rights advocates before little, if any, facts have been released.
While other celebrities like Sarah Silverman and Josh Groban expressed shock at the news via social media, the star of Young Adult and Ratatouille hurried to use the tragedy as a political talking point.
The irony is that liberals like Oswalt often pounce on tragedies like this to support their own causes rather than mourning for the loss of life and waiting for all the details to emerge.
