Armed George Zimmerman Stopped for Speeding

TMZ reports that on Sunday George Zimmerman, the Florida man acquitted earlier this month for the fatal shooting of teenager Trayvon Martin, was stopped for speeding in Forney, Texas. The stop lasted about five minutes and Zimmerman was let go with a warning.

Zimmerman told the officer he was going  “nowhere in particular” and that he had a firearm in his glove compartment.

The firearm is likely due to the numerous death threats Zimmerman has received throughout this ordeal.

Though there was no evidence race was involved, the mainstream media, Al Sharpton and President Obama turned the Zimmerman case into a national racial firestorm that resulted in Zimmerman facing countless death threats. After the evidence proved that race had nothing to do with the shooting, the media, Sharpton, and Obama only doubled down in their cynical efforts to pretend otherwise.

Tempers never cooled, and the death threats continue in the wake of  Zimmerman’s acquittal.
