'Breitbart News Sunday' on SXM 125 to Put DC on Alert: Political Extortion, Crony Capitalism, Amnesty

On Breitbart News Sunday on Sirius XM Patriot channel 125, Breitbart News Executive Chairman and host Stephen K. Bannon will devote the show to three of the most important issues that Breitbart News has combated--political extortion, crony capitalism, and amnesty.

Breitbart News Managing Editor Wynton Hall will discuss the 60 Minutes segment on Sunday with Government Accountability Institute president and Breitbart News Senior Editor-at-Large Peter Schweizer. Schweizer's new book, Extortion: How Politicians Extract Your Money, Buy Votes, and Line Their Own Pocketswill rock Capitol Hill with stunning revelations about how Republicans and Democrats use mafia-like tactics to extort political contributions. Schweizer's last book, Throw Them All Out, shocked the political establishment and mobilized Americans against Washington's permanent political class and forced Congress to pass the STOCK Act, which banned insider trading by lawmakers in Congress.

Breitbart News has relentlessly highlighted the crony capitalism that has allowed the permanent political and ruling class to extract money from Americans to make Washington a boomtown by expanding government. It is an issue Breitbart News has owned--and something Breitbart News will continue to relentlessly pursue under new Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow, who will be on the program to discuss his vision for Breitbart News and what drives the news cycle in the new media era, which is lessening the influence of the mainstream media in their traditional roles as gatekeepers. Recently, President Barack Obama expressed his frustration at so-called "bloggers" that have often upended the news cycle and frustrated the ability of the Obama administration and the mainstream media to monopolize narratives.

Breitbart News announced significant changes to its masthead last Thursday.

Marlow, described as a "27-year-old phenom and protege" who was "the first employee of Breitbart News and sat at Andrew Breitbart’s side from the time of the company's founding in Andrew’s basement," will be the Editor-in-Chief going forward. Marlow has also been referred to as "the most powerful 27-year-old you’ve never heard of, having studied the news business at the feet – literally, the sock-clad feet – of Andrew Breitbart. He is meticulous, unflappable, and unshakeable in his commitment to the truth. And he’s a fighter of the highest order."

Breitbart News CEO Larry Solov will be on the show to discuss new strategic initiatives at Breitbart News, which has seen explosive growth across the board. And Jon Kahn, the Minister of Culture at Breitbart News, will be on the program to discuss the "culture wars" and the importance of culture in politics. Culture, as the late Andrew Breitbart used to say, is upstream of politics.

Immigration has been another issue Breitbart News has owned, holding those in the permanent political class accountable for pushing amnesty for their big-business donors.

Maria Espinoza, the director of the Remembrance Project, which honors American citizens murdered by illegal immigrants, will be on the program to tell her powerful story in a segment called, "The American Dead: illegal aliens and the murder of our citizens."

Breitbart's Matt Boyle, who won the prestigious Eagle Award for his relentless reporting on amnesty and comprehensive immigration reform, will be on the program to talk about the looming amnesty battle. President Barack Obama has said comprehensive immigration reform is his "number-one priority" and House Republicans are looking to pass piecemeal bills to get to conference with the Senate, which earlier passed a bill with a provision providing all of the illegal immigrants in the nation with a pathway to citizenship.

Dr. Susan Berry will discuss the Catholic Church's push for amnesty.

Breitbart News has also been on the front lines in combating the left's relentless battle against guns. Breitbart's Dr. AWR Hawkins will be on the show to discuss the war against gun rights that Democrats will again wage.

Bannon hosts the weekly three-hour show on Sirius XM Patriot channel that helps set the next week's news cycle and narratives.
