AP Editor, Reporter Fired Over Erroneous McAuliffe Story

Two weeks ago the Associated Press published a false report that claimed Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe had lied to an investigator during a federal fraud case. The story was retracted less than two hours later. Monday, the AP fired Bob Lewis, the reporter behind the story, and editor Dena Potter.

Without any consequence to editors or reporters that I am aware of, in the recent past this same AP has tweeted a pro-abortion hashtag, referred the Hispanic George Zimmerman as "white," and rewrote President Obama's Gulf gaffe so that it would not appear as a gaffe

Apparently, falsehoods that damage a Democrat are more equal than those that either protect one or their agenda.
