Fox News’ Chris Wallace reported on Sunday that Senate Budget Committee Chairwoman Patty Murray refused to do a joint interview with Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) on Fox News. Wallace interviewed Ryan alone; he said that Murray had turned down the interview for reasons other than appearing alongside Ryan.
Ryan and Murray did an interview together for NBC’s Meet the Press and also stood with Ryan to announce the budget deal they had cut together that raises current spending in exchange for future cuts.
