Blockbuster Report Contradicts Panetta's Claim of 'No Real-Time Intel' in Libya During the Attack

A blockbuster report just released from Fox News proves that Barack Obama has failed in his primary responsibility: Protecting the lives of the American people. According to Fox News’ Jennifer Griffin, on three occasions during the seven-hour September 11th anniversary attack on our Libyan consulate that resulted in the murder of four Americans, U.S. officials refused to send reinforcements that most certainly could’ve arrived in time to make a difference.

This new report is not only horrifying in the details, but it also seems to contradict what we were told by Leon Panetta. Yesterday, the Defense Secretary said he ruled out sending help into Benghazi based on a lack of real-time intelligence:

At a Pentagon news briefing, Panetta said there was no “real-time information” to be able to act on, even though the U.S. military was prepared to do so.

“You don’t deploy forces into harm’s way without knowing what’s going on,” Panetta said. “(We) felt we could not put forces at risk in that situation.”

But according to Fox News’ CIA sources, there was a wealth of “real-time information” coming in, including two military surveillance drones and those who were on the ground.  The communication from the CIA annex about a mile away from the consulate was “constant”:

There were no communications problems at the annex, according those present at the compound. The team was in constant radio contact with their headquarters. In fact, at least one member of the team was on the roof of the annex manning a heavy machine gun when mortars were fired at the CIA compound.

There was not only constant communication, but we now know that one security officer lasered the terrorist target that was firing mortars, but his requests for a gunship to take the target out were repeatedly turned down by U.S. officials. And yet, there was more than enough time for a gunship based less than 500 miles away to take it out before the annex was eventually overrun and two former Navy SEALs lost their lives.

Both Navy SEALs killed in the attack were told to “stand down” twice before ignoring orders. Instead of waiting around for people to die as ordered, these heroes made their way to the consulate and helped get a number of people out to safety.

During that entire time, they were in constant radio contact, offering real-time intelligence to their superiors.

Imagine how much worse this story would be, had those two men followed orders.

Hindsight is 20/20, but there’s no question we’re not being told the truth. There was real-time intelligence, and if there was, how in the world can the Obama Administration justify a narrative that lasted for almost two weeks that focused on a spontaneous protest over a YouTube video?

Impossibly, this scandal grows worse with every new revelation. As do the Administration’s lies.
