American Marine Among Victims of Freed Palestinian Terrorists
As details unfold pertaining to the Palestinian mass murderers being released as per request of Secretary of State John Kerry, it has been revealed that an American citizen and former US Marine, Steven Rosenfeld, was killed by a now-freed terrorist.
Al-Haaj Othman Amar Mustafa was sentenced to life in jail after he and two cohorts stabbed Rosenfeld to death while he was hiking in Ariel, an Israeli city in the West Bank.
Mustafa was among the 26 terrorists released on Tuesday and was personally welcomed with a raucous party at Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas' Presidential compound in Ramallah.
After catching wind of the notion that not only Israeli but American victims of terror were also being robbed of justice, a State Department spokesman stated, "The State Department conveyed the administration's concerns regarding the release of this prisoner to the government of Israel, while recognizing the victim was a dual national of Israel and the United States."
The statement itself may lead some to ask why the State Department treats human beings by different standards based on their nationalities. Does this mean it's okay for a murderer of an Israeli to be released, but not a murderer of an American?
Additionally, we must not forget that it was Barack Obama's State Department under Secretary Kerry that pushed for the release of the Palestinian prisoners in the first place. Without Secretary Kerry's insistence upon the release of prisoners to satisfy the Palestinian Authorities' "pre-conditions" for talks, the now-freed terrorists would almost certainly still be serving out their life sentences behind bars.
