Federal Judge Upholds Charges Against Hook-Handed Islamist Preacher

Federal Judge Katherine Forrest of New York refused to throw out terrorism charges against Mustafa Kamel Mustafa, who allegedly conspired to set up a terrorist training camp in Oregon, then allegedly helped kidnap 16 people including two American tourists in Yemen in 1998. He was charged with 11 counts after being extradited to the United States from Britain last year. He was captured in England in 2004. Mustafa is a well-known Islamic preacher.
