Poll: Only 36 Percent of Americans Think US Winning War on Terror

An October 23 Rasmussen Poll shows that confidence in the U.S. efforts in the “fight against terrorism” has fallen to 36 percent.

Just over one third of Americans “believe the United States and its allies are winning the War on Terror.”

Slightly less believe the terrorists are winning at 26 percent, while 30 percent believe that “neither side is.”

The poll consisted of 1,000 likely voters and was conducted on October 16 and 17.
